The world’s worst religious leaders

Foreign Policy lists the world’s leading preachers of hate

Yogi Adityanath

Religion: Hinduism

Who is he?: Religious leader and member of parliament from Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous province

Country: India

Quote: “I want Muslim votes, too. But wash them in Gangajal [Ganges water] first.”

Why he matters: Adityanath is an up-and-comer in India’s growing Hindutva—Hindu nationalist—movement. In addition to his membership in the nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he is the founder of the Hindu Yuva Vahini, a radical Hindu youth movement that has been implicated in a number of incidents of anti-Muslim violence. In early 2007 he was arrested for his role in fomenting religious riots in the northern city of Gorakhpur. Yuva Vahini activists set fire to multiple vehicles including a train and an ambulance in response to his arrest. Adityanath has been released and remains in Parliament, where he is known for such publicity-seeking antics as breaking down in tears during speeches and making statements critical of Mahatma Gandhi. Adityanath’s extreme views put him at odds with even the BJP, and he is now looking into starting his own party with a strictly Hindutva agenda.

It is absurd to say that YOGI ADITY NATH ji is world’s worst religious leaders. He is the best and powerfull leader of hindu samaj.Because as all know that in the whole world only INDIA has the majorty of HINDUS living there. And in INDIA, HINDUS are treated as the second nationals. Is it right ? So some one has to stood up and save the intrests of the HINDUS.And that man is YOGI ADITY NATH JI.WE all HINDUS regaurds him as GOD.No onehas the right to say that he is “world’s worst religious leader”.You and so many people in there own intrest can say like that , but the fact is that he is a GREAT LEADER OF THIS ERA FOR HINDUS. I write it and I mean it.

Aditya Nath Yogi should be imprisoned for the rest of his life since people like him are a huge threat to the peace and humanity at large. He has orchestrated so much communal voilence in the province of Uttar Pradesh, India and it has resulted in large scale loss of human life and property and human dignity. These people deserve the harshest punishment so that the rest of his ilk take heed from following his voilent ugly path and realize that killing muslims is more to do with politics of Adityanath and nothing else. The communal BJP and its allies will always be losers no matter what. This murdrer adityanath is truly the-worlds-worst-religious-leader similar to Nathuram Gose and Naredra Modi.

While sporadic incidents of violence continued to disrupt peace in Purvanchal, the Bahujan Samaj Party demanded a CBI probe and dismissal of the state government. Courting arrests across the state the Bhartiya Janta Party leaders asked for the immediate release of their member of Parliament Yogi Adityanath.
Despite at least three divisions and seven districts in the east part of the state facing continued communal violence, no senior Home Department official was available for comments.
Arriving in the state capital, BSP chief Mayawati declared that the BSP would stage dharna and demonstrations across the state, barring Gorakhpur division, on Wednesday to protest against the communal violence and the madarsa rape case.
Demanding a CBI probe, Ms Mayawati called the communal violence a “well-planned political conspiracy” jointly staged by the SP and BJP to regain their lost political ground.
Much has been written about the riot like situation created at the instance of Yogi and his gang of lumpens called Hindu Yuva Vahini, which saw deaths of innocents, who intervened in a private scuffle at the time of a marriage party. But for the timely intervention by the then district magistrate Hari Om and the Superintendent of Police, the situation would have turned worse. The D.M ( who was immediately transferred by Mulayam for his prompt action) saw to it that the main troublemaker(s) in this whole episode be interned to calm the situation. It was worth noting that this strategy worked and for the first time in his whole political career Yogi found himself on the defensive. Within a week of his internment the ’sporadic and spontaneous actions’ by his followers in different parts of Eastern UP died down, the traders association also decided to resume work which had initially declared a closure till the release of Yogi. While charges were clamped against Yogi under breach of peace and danger to communal harmony, many of his close associates found themselve cooling their heels with charges under National Security Act filed against them.

Why to blaim Yogi Aditya nath for all this. He did few good work and have not taken bribe in transfer and contarcts but public will not vote for this and If he claims that he did good job as MP he will loose election.
I am strongly against his Pro-hindu politics but I am sure he is doing all to retain power.

Let’s see Manoj Tiwari how much vote collect to overcome Yogi ji in 2009 election.
Public has no option other than voting Yogi ji as no other party is feilding any powerful and clean image politican.
