The mother should not and does not deserve to be prosecuted for neglecting her 15 year old daughter. For goodness sake, a 14 year old young teenager is capable of babysitting any age child, and is old enough to be left alone and chose which friends to hang out with. It is just unfortunate and sad that she ended up with or amongst the wrong crowd of people in a country that is corrupt and very unhelpful as well. So people need to stop judging the mother, who is bringing her children up as best as any other normal/loving mother can do, and focus on the monsters that murdered Scarlett and also realise that the media aren’t always right, and can take things down wrong and also over exagerate. Remember you people out there “Justice and focus on the killers of Scarlett”, not blaming the mother who was being a normal, loving, caring mother… giving her teenager some space and freedom that at that age they want (as I know I have two teenagers and two pre-teens) and stop judging and accusing the mother. Don’t you just hate the way humans can be now… your dammed if you do, and dammed if you don’t.

Mr. Abhishek!Which world are you in.. India is a very corrupt nation. Otherwise why would Jessica lal’s murder case take 10 years to get justice. And there are so many other cases especially when the political outsiders are involved which do not get justice.. Nobody even bothers to look into those cases. I hope Scarlet Keeling gets justice.. The Government and police in India is so corrupt.

I have visited Goa many times. The police there is corrupt as any place where there are drugs. The local and Indians overall are not bad as we Brits portrait them. Any drunken woman is a prey in Britain. Take the case of Norwegian millionaire lady got murdered few days ago in London as she returned from night club to her apartment. But let me say that Indians are defending Scralett’s mother in media and in parliament, that would not happen in Britain for she is a Gypsy living in caravan. I am sure she will not be charged for negligence in India. The mother has allowed her daughter to have sex with her boy friends in Devon and Goa but this also is upto British police and social workers. The innocent life has been lost and the guilty must be punished. However the mother has to shoulder some blame but Goan police will not charge her, for Indians feel sorry for the mother and Indian public opinion matters a lot.
